HSEF Fall 2021 Feel Free to Write

Despite what we’ve often been taught, there is no right or wrong way to write. In this course, we explore writing as a form of creative expression, self-discovery, and empowerment. Students tap into their instincts to write whatever they want, however they want, free from convention and judgment. We support and encourage each student’s craft while reading a diverse range of writers who break the rules themselves. Like these more established writers, students draw from their unique perspectives to make their voices heard. We hope to create a space where everyone feels free to experiment, to break rules, to write!
